Senator Charles J. Fuschillo, Jr. (R-Merrick) and Assemblyman David G. McDonough (R-North Merrick) recently attended the Merrick Fire Department’s 88th annual installation ceremony.

Senator Fuschillo and Assemblyman McDonough offered their congratulations and best wishes to the Department’s new Chief, Thomas J. Fernandez, Jr., as well as Assistant Chief Michael Gargen and the rest of the incoming officers. Senator Fuschillo and Assemblyman McDonough also thanked outgoing Chief Frank Vanderlofske for his service to the Department and the Merrick community.
