Senator Charles J. Fuschillo, Jr. (R-Merrick) recently welcomed three members of the Merrick Board of Education to the State Capitol in Albany. 

     Merrick School Board members Susan Schwartz, Sherri Iskendarian, and Gina Piskin traveled to Albany to meet with Senator Fuschillo and other state legislators as part of the New York State School Boards Association’s annual Lobby Day.    

     Senator Fuschillo talked about a number of issues with the board members, including the upcoming state budget.
