Senator Carlucci Urges Orange & Rockland, Hudson Valley Residents to be Prepared for Hurricane Sandy
David Carlucci
October 25, 2012
“Today I am urging Orange and Rockland to begin making the necessary preparations in advance of the possible arrival of Hurricane Sandy. We cannot be in a position where our utility companies are unable to service its customers and subsequently are left in the dark.
"At the same time residents are preparing to make their own arrangements in the event that the storm hits the Hudson Valley, our utility companies must be doing the same.
"My office is continuing to monitor the situation closely, and I will remain in touch with the various local, state, and federal authorities to address any issues and concerns that may arise in the coming days. I am urging residents to visit my website at www.senatorcarlucci.com to keep up to date with the latest news about the storm."
