“As Chairman of the Senate Committee on Commerce, Economic Development and Small Business, but more importantly, as a Rochester resident whose family and friends have worked at – and retired from – Kodak, I am saddened by the news that Kodak has decided to file for bankruptcy. Nevertheless, New York must continue to pursue every opportunity to create new jobs in existing and developing enterprises and move forward with the kind of enthusiasm that was at the heart of Kodak’s beginning.”
