Senator Golden to Honor the Late Mets Legend Gary Carter at Brooklyn Cyclones Game Friday

Brooklyn – State Senator Martin J. Golden (R-C-I, Brooklyn) will present a New York State Senate Resolution, J. 3367, honoring the life and career of Mets legend Gary Carter, during festivities on the field at MCU Park, 1940 Surf Avenue, at 6:00 p.m., prior to the scheduled June 29th Brooklyn Cyclones game against the Aberdeen IronBirds.
Senator Golden will present the resolution, which passed the State Senate following the death of Gary Carter earlier this year.
Friday night will be “Gary Carter Night” at MCU Park in honor of the former MLB legend, and will also serve as a fundraiser for the Gary Carter Foundation.
Members of the media are welcome to attend.
