“As a member of the Brooklyn State Senate Delegation and a member of the New York City Regional Economic Development Council, I join in announcing this major investment totaling $46 million in the Brooklyn Navy Yard to build a Green Manufacturing Center. Today, we announce an investment in our own backyard that will set us apart as global leaders and that will create 300 jobs. This is a major win-win for Brooklyn and for New York.
I look forward to working with my fellow members of the NYC Regional Economic Development Council to help reinvigorate our local and State economy. Today’s announcement further propels us in our efforts to put people back to work and build an economic foundation in New York like no other.”
