Sagamore Children’s Psychiatric Center is already a Regional Center of Excellence for children and adolescents with a long, proven history.

New York State has a responsibility to provide quality, compassionate care to our children in need of these critical services. Over the years, the facility has down sized considerably in an effort to control costs.  We cannot stand by and allow Long Island to be the sole region of the state without any children’s psychiatric beds.
