In addition to voting for candidates this election day, New York voters will have the opportunity to vote on six ballot proposals to amend specific provisions of the New York State Constitution.
Information on the six separate proposals, which will appear on the ballot on November 5, can be found by clicking the below link to visit the New York State Board of Elections website.
The right to vote is one of the most cherished rights that we have as citizens and it is a right that has sustained and empowered us throughout our history. It is my hope that you will take the time to read about the amendments and decide whether you wish to vote for or against each one. Look carefully for them on the ballot as sometimes they are easy to miss.
