Senator Jack M. Martins (R-Mineola) recently held a college financial aid and application seminar to help parents and students learn about the college application process and the different types of financial aid which may be available to them. The program was held at the Manhasset Library.
Representatives from the New York State Higher Education Services Corporation (HESC), State University of New York (SUNY), SUNY Old Westbury, Farmingdale State College, Adelphi University, and Nassau Community College provided families tips about applying for college admission, how to apply for financial aid, and the different types of college financial aid and scholarships which are available.
