Senator Jack Martins (R-7th Senate District) recently visited South Salem Elementary School in Port Washington to read to students as part of the Read Across America Program.
Senator Martins, who visited the school on Earth Day, read Dr. Seuss’ The Lorax to fifth grade students. The book helped children understand the dangers of pollution and the importance of protecting the environment.
