Senator Jack M. Martins (R-7th Senate District) recently sponsored a free child safety seat check in Mineola.
Officials from the Nassau County Traffic Safety Board performed free safety seat inspections to make sure that drivers have their children’s car seats properly installed and secured. Child safety seats can reduce the threat of injury or death by as much as 65 percent, but only if they are installed properly, according to the Nassau County Traffic Safety Board.
Senator Martins is pictured with Emily Narbutt of Elmont and her three month old son, Aidan, her mom Susan, Nassau County Traffic Safety Coordinator Chris Mistron, and Port Washington Police Officer Tracy Dioguardi at the free car seat safety check he sponsored in Mineola.
