Grant money to assist with structural repairs to Town Hall
Senator Bonacic announces that the Town of Liberty has been awarded $50,000 in funding from the Municipal Facilities Program.
The monies will be used to make critical repairs to the front porch and steps of Town Hall.
"We are so pleased about this grant that will go towards much needed repairs for our Town Hall,” said Supervisor Charlie Barbuti. “This is a magnificent building, over 150 years old, but its support structures have lost their integrity. During these times when budgets are strained, and monies have to go to other needed services, this grant is crucial to repairing one of our town's historic gems."
“I am pleased to be able to help the Town of Liberty with this much needed repair to their Town Hall, making it safe for visitors and workers,” said Senator Bonacic.
