Senator John J. Bonacic announces that the Village of Otisville has been awarded $50,000 in funding from the Municipal Facilities Program.
Plans call for upgrades to Otisville’s Veterans Memorial Park to include new playground equipment, benches and resurfacing of the walking trail.
“I would like to thank Senator Bonacic for the generosity and support which he has once again shown the Village of Otisville,” said Mayor Brian Wona. “This fifty thousand dollar grant will go a long way toward the further development of our Veterans Memorial Park. We intend to use the funds from this grant to purchase additional playground equipment, resurface the walking trail, and add more benches around the park, as well as various other upgrades to make the park more enjoyable for our residents and our neighbors. Senator Bonacic has always shown great support for the Village of Otisville and we are very appreciative.”
“I am pleased to be able to help the Village of Otisville with their park upgrade which will be enjoyed by all for many years to come,” said Senator Bonacic.
