(East Harlem, NY) - Senator José M. Serrano joined El Museo del Barrio, colleagues in government and the community in celebrating the 37th Annual Three Kings Day festivities in East Harlem. The annual celebration culminates in a parade in the streets of El Barrio, bringing together local residents, families, school groups and community organizations from all over New York City.
"The Three Kings Day Parade represents family, culture and tradition," said Senator Serrano. "It is always a pleasure to celebrate this annual custom alongside the community with live music, dancing, and so much more. Having our youth participate in these traditions is a wonderful opportunity for them to learn more about their heritage and culture. Many thanks to El Museo del Barrio for continuing this wonderful tradition," concluded Serrano.
