State Senator Patty Ritchie is reminding Central New Yorkers she will be hosting her annual “Senior Health and Wellness Fair” Wednesday in Oswego County from 11:00 a.m to 1:00 p.m. at the Fulton Ice Arena, located at 605 West Broadway Street next to the Fulton War Memorial. 

The free event will feature health screenings, wellness tips, lunch prepared by “chefs in training” from Oswego County CiTi, entertainment and more.  Flu shots will be provided, and those interested in receiving a shot are reminded to bring their insurance information. Transportation to the event will be provided by Oswego County Opportunities and a bus schedule can be found here. 

“Last year, hundreds of seniors attended my Oswego County Senior Health and Wellness Fair, accessing free information, tools and health checks all aimed at helping them to increase their well-being,” said Senator Ritchie.

“I’m really looking forward to this year’s event—which is bigger than ever before, offering dozens of new organizations and featuring new partnerships in the areas of transportation and food preparation that will help to make this year’s event the best yet.”
