Sen. Farley Notes Electronic Waste Collection Day Slated for April 18th in Capitol Region

Saturday, April 18th, is a special Electronic Waste Collection Day in this region, and Tri City Rentals is offering two free sites to drop off “e-waste” from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. They are: Crescent Village Apartments, 800 Walnut Drive, Clifton Park (Tel: 371-5800); and Hampshire Apartments, 2150 Rosa Road, Schenectady (Tel: 370-4242). E-waste includes computer towers, laptops, servers, monitors, keyboards, printers, fax machines, microwaves, cell phones, televisions, VCRs and DVD players. For a complete list and more information on the event, visit http://www.tcrgreenliving.com/ In the Herkimer County region, the Oneida-Herkimer Solid Waste Authority will be collecting e-waste from 7 a.m. to 2 p.m. on April 18th as part of its Earth Day celebration at the center located at 80 Leland Avenue Ext., Utica.
