Senator Martins Honors New Hyde Park Resident on Earning Scouting’s Highest Honor

Senator Jack M. Martins (R-7th Senate District) recently honored Kevin Klimas of New Hyde Park for attaining the prestigious rank of Eagle Scout. Senator Martins, along with Town of North Hempstead Councilman Angelo Ferrara, attended the Court of Honor to personally congratulate Kevin, a member of Boy Scout Troop 298, on earning scouting’s highest honor.
“Only a select few become Eagle Scouts because it requires years of dedication, commitment, and service. Through countless hours of serving the community, developing his skills, and sheer hard work, Kevin has earned a place among Scouting’s elite. The entire community is very proud of Kevin and we congratulate him on earning this prestigious honor,” said Senator Martins.
