Senator Martins Joins Winthrop Hospital in Unveiling New Trauma Center

Senator Jack M. Martins (R-7th Senate District) recently joined with Winthrop-University Hospital officials and staff in unveiling the hospital’s new trauma center. The center, which will be staffed around the clock by a trauma team and on-site surgeon, will enable the hospital to enhance its care for victims of motor vehicle crashes, falls, fires and burns, gunshots, and other types of trauma.
