Senator Martins Visits Carle Place High School

February 6, 2015
Senator Jack M. Martins (R-7th Senate District) recently visited Carle Place High School to speak with 9th and 10th grade students.
Many of the students had written to Senator Martins expressing their opposition and concern to the proposed VLT facility at the former Fortunoff’s store. Rather than simply write them back, Senator Martins met with the students to talk about the issue, thank them for voicing their concerns, and tell them why it was so important to remain involved in the community.
