On Saturday, October 3, 2015, Senator John A. DeFrancisco attended the Honor Flight Syracuse "welcome home ceremony" at Hancock International Airport in Syracuse.  Senator DeFrancisco is pictured with Mike and Joe Ranieri.  Joe Ranieri is a World War II veteran and Senator DeFrancisco's uncle, who participated in the Honor Flight Syracuse mission to the World War II Memorial in Washington, D.C.
