SENATOR BONACIC HONORS THE CAREER OF DR. DAVID MESCHES
October 8, 2015
Senator Bonacic recently attended and spoke at the ceremony honoring the career of Dr. David Mesches, in New Paltz. Dr. Mesches formally served at the CEO of the Mid-Hudson Family Health Institute, a primary care facility who’s mission it is to provide high quality, patient centered care to medically underserved communities. The ceremony honored his service not only as the head of the Institute, but also his commitment to bringing quality healthcare to those underserved in the Ulster County area. In recognition of his efforts throughout the years, the Institute’s New Paltz Campus, located at 279 Main Street, was renamed the David N. Mesches, MD Health Campus. The relationship between Senator Bonacic and Dr. Mesches goes back several years, as Senator Bonacic had a District Office located at 279 Main Street for 8 years. During that time, he got to know Dr. Mesches very well, and saw firsthand the good work he did in the community.
