(Middletown, NY)-Senator Bonacic today  presented his 2015 NY Senate Woman of Distinction, Dr. Joyce Willetts, with a plaque that hung in the Well of the Legislative Office Building in Albany. The presentation took place at Senator Bonacic’s District office. Bonacic also presented Dr. Willetts with a Senate Resolution that was passed on the floor of the Senate honoring her achievements, a DVD copy of the ceremony and pictures from the event. Willetts, a Florida, NY resident, was honored earlier this year as Senator Bonacic’s 2015 NY Senate Woman of Distinction, at a ceremony in Albany.

 “Dr. Willetts was a well deserving recipient of the 2015 NY Senate Woman of Distinction award,” said Senator Bonacic. “She has been a strong advocate for the Village Florida, and I have no doubt that she will continue to be an asset to her community in the future.”

 Village of Florida Mayor Jim Pawliczek who was on hand for the presentation said, “This is  very well deserved for Dr. Willetts. Joyce has always stepped forward when her area of expertise could help the Village, the school district, or her local community.”
