December 14, 2015
(Middletown, NY)- Last Thursday, Senator Bonacic was joined by members of the Leadership team from the Firemen’s Association of the State of New York (FASNY) in his Albany office as he presented them with a framed pen certificate, commemorating the signing into a law, a bill that he sponsored. The Bill, S. 1885-C of 2014, would require prospective volunteer firefighters to undergo a background check for sex offense convictions. This bill was a top priority of FASNY, and was signed into law by Governor Cuomo.
