(Albany, NY)- Senator Serrano joined other legislators for the 2015 New York State Association of Black and Puerto Rican Legislators Caucus Weekend. The Senator participated in workshops, luncheons and receptions, designed to give visitors to the State Capitol the opportunity to interact with elected leaders and various experts in different fields.

"I had a great time seeing my colleagues and speaking with all the visitors who attended Caucus Weekend," said Senator Serrano. "It's so important to engage our youth and get them more involved in civics and government. This weekend served as a great opportunity to get the public more involved with the work that we do as legislators."
