Senator Golden to Host Sandy Recovery Information Session

Brooklyn, NY – State Senator Martin J. Golden (R-C-I, Brooklyn) today announced that he will be hosting a Sandy Recovery Information Session on Saturday, February 14th, 1:00pm – 4:00pm at the AOH Hall, 2750 Gerritsen Avenue. This information session with allow individualized attention for residents still recovering to speak with NYC Build it Back, the Neighborhood Housing Services Foreclosure Intervention, as well as information available regarding flood & homeowner insurance, low-interest home repair loans and grants.
“As we continue to rebuild from the devastation of Superstorm Sandy, it is vital that we continue to make services accessible to those who were affected,” said Senator Golden. “These information sessions give homeowners the opportunity to speak one on one with the various agencies, and get real individual attention. Until we are all back on our feet, I will continue to host events like this so that all members of our community have the support they need and deserve.”
