During a check presentation ceremony at the district office in Lockport, Senator Ortt handed out a handful of oversized checks to Niagara County law enforcement agencies totaling $45,000. The funds will help fight against crime, allow agencies to operate more effectively and efficiently, and assist in emergency services and public safety measures.
The Niagara Falls Police Department, the Niagara County Sheriff’s Office and the Niagara County DA received $10,000 each, while the North Tonawanda Police Department and Lockport Police Department received $7,500 each.
