Sue Serino: Let’s Talk!
HYDE PARK, NY—On Wednesday, October 28, 2015 Senator Sue Serino hosted a ‘Community Conversation’ on local public safety at Coppola’s Italian American Bistro in Hyde Park.
Hyde Park Police Chief Eric Paolilli, Detectives Richard Brenner and Ralph Francesci from the Dutchess County Sheriff’s Office were on hand to share important tips with community members about the steps they can take to stay safe and avoid prominent scams.
“The idea for the event came about after I personally experienced suspicious activity in my own neighborhood,” said Senator Serino. “Information is power and I wanted a way for neighbors to come together to talk about anything that they may have seen or experienced so that we can all avoid these kinds of scams and look out for one another as well. I am grateful for the support of our local law enforcement who go above and beyond to stay connected to our community and to help keep us in the loop.”
