March 3, 2016
State Senator Hugh T. Farley (R, C, I – Schenectady) said he was extremely proud to represent many talented and gifted musicians in the 49th Senatorial District. On March 3rd, choirs from Shenendehowa Central Schools performed on the Concourse at the Empire State Plaza in Albany as part of New York State School Music Association’s (NYSSMA) March As Music in Our Schools Month.
Three of Shenendehowa’s middle schools – Acadia, Gowana, and Koda – combined choirs. The “Ambassador” choir was under the direction of Tim Antonacci and Rebecca Fenny, while the “Treble” Choir was under the direction of Lauren Bergeron.
Senator Farley said many more schools will be performing throughout the month at the Concourse.
