State Senator Hugh T. Farley (R, C, I – Schenectady) said he was extremely proud to represent many talented and gifted musicians in the 49th Senatorial District. On March 3rd, Northville Central School's middle school band and chorus performed on the Concourse at the Empire State Plaza in Albany as part of New York State School Music Association’s (NYSSMA) March As Music in Our Schools Month.

Many talented musicians from Northville’s middle school performed in both the chorus and the band. The Chorus was under the director of Kristy Matthews while the band was under the direction of Michael Graves.

Senator Farley said many more schools will be performing throughout the month at the Concourse.
