Senator Jack M. Martins (R-7th Senate District) recently joined with members of Vaishnav Temple in New Hyde Park at their Republic Day celebration.  Republic Day is an annual Indian holiday which commemorates the anniversary of India’s independence and celebrates freedom, national pride, and the men and women who helped realize the dream of an independent nation governed by its people.
