SENATOR SERRANO CO-HOSTS IMPORTANT PUERTO RICO DEBT CRISIS PANEL DISCUSSION DURING 29TH ANNUAL SOMOS WEEKEND

Senator Serrano and Assembly Member Marcos Crespo co-hosted a very important panel about Puerto Rico's economic crisis during the SOMOS El Futuro Conference in Albany. Among the panelists were Congressman Jose E. Serrano, and Congresswoman Nydia Velazquez. The important discussion provided up-to-date information on what precipitated the economic crisis and what is to come if the situation is notaddressed. The Panelists also discussed what must be done to help the island address its immediate fiscal challenges and achieve long-term economic stability.
