Job-seekers had the opportunity to meet one-on-one with more than 50 local employers Thursday at State Senator Patty Ritchie’s annual Oswego County Job Fair, which took place at the Fulton Community Ice Arena.
“Oswego County is home to so many talented people who are just waiting to put their strengths to work in a rewarding career,” said Senator Ritchie.
“From medicine and technology to sales and manufacturing, my Oswego County Job Fair offered something for everyone. I would to thank the employers who had a hand in making the event such a success and extend my best wishes to those who were there looking for their next opportunity.”
To date, more than 2,200 people throughout Central and Northern New York have visited Senator Ritchie’s job fairs, which she has held annually in Oswego and St. Lawrence Counties since 2012.
Thursday’s event was the first of two job fairs Senator Ritchie will host this year. On Thursday, May 26th she will host her St. Lawrence County Job Fair at the Richard G. Lockwood Civic Center, located at 141 W. River Street in Ogdensburg from 11:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m.
