TAKING LEARNING ON THE ROAD: GRANBY ELEMENTARY STUDENTS VISIT RITCHIE AT STATE CAPITOL
May 6, 2016
State Senator Patty Ritchie welcomed fourth grade students from Granby Elementary to Albany this week, where the group was able to tour the Capitol and learn about how state government works.
“I’d like to thank the fourth graders from Granby Elementary for making the trip to Albany to learn firsthand about how the legislative process works,” said Senator Ritchie.
“I’m hopeful that their visit not only help them to be more knowledgeable about our state, but also inspires them to continue to learn more about government and becoming good citizens.”
In addition to a tour, students also had the opportunity to visit with Senator Ritchie and Assemblyman Will Barclay.
