The state DOT updated local officials on its $2.4 million federally-funded project to give Route 98 in Orleans County a facelift. Route 31A to Route 104, Towns of Albion and Gaines, will be milled and repaved. There will also be a redesign of bike lines with new signage to make it safer for bicyclists. Work is expected to start around July and could take up to 7 weeks to complete.
