Larkin Secures $100K Grant For Maybrook

Senator Bill Larkin (R,C,I -39th District) is pleased to announce that he has secured a $l00,000 State and Municipal Facilities Program (SAM) grant for the Village of Maybrook. The funding will be used to replace unsafe sidewalks along Route 208 (Homestead Avenue).
“This funding will provide safer sidewalks for residents, promote active lifestyles and help to bolster local economic development,” said Senator Larkin. “I am pleased that I could secure this grant for the Village to help complete this important community project.”
Dennis Leahy, Mayor of the Village of Maybrook said: “I sincerely appreciate Senator Larkin's efforts to secure an additional $100,000 through the State and Municipalities (SAM) Grant. The replacement of unsafe sidewalks in Maybrook will enhance our village and boost our economic development.”
This is the second grant that Senator Larkin has secured for the village to help them replace their antiquated sidewalks.
