“Senate Democrats have led the fight to make a quality higher education affordable to all New York students, and our Higher Education Ranking Member Senator Toby Stavisky has carried a bill to accomplish just this goal. This is perfect example of why the Democrats that comprise a majority of the Senate should unite. It is clear that initiatives like this would pass in a Democratic Majority.”
