Senator Klein announces $172,000 in funding for Castle Hill Little League

Bronx, NY - Senator Jeff Klein on Saturday announced $172,000 in state funding that he secured for Castle Hill Little League. The announcement was made during the league’s opening day ceremony. The grant will be used for a variety of field upgrades, including lighting and outfield improvements, fencing repairs and the replacement of field maintenance equipment.

“I’m happy to secure $172,000 in funding for Castle Hill Little League. Our young Bronx baseball players deserve top-notch field conditions and these funds will go a long way to ensure their needs are met,” said Senator Jeff Klein.

“I want to express our tremendous gratitude for Senator Klein’s support of Castle Hill Little League throughout the years. Senator Klein’s efforts to secure $172,000 in funding for the much needed repairs and renovations to our ballfield is a shining example of his commitment and dedication to the children of our community,” said Castle Hill Little League President, Christy Martinez.
