In recent days, countless people from across our region, state, nation and world have come together to pay tribute to Trooper Joel Davis.  This outpouring of support is a testament to who Trooper Davis was, a selfless public servant, family man and dedicated member of our North Country community. 

We will never forget the ultimate sacrifice he made and are grateful for the way he put his own safety on the line to protect us for so many years.  In the days to come, my thoughts and prayers will be with his family, friends, colleagues and all others who are grieving this tremendous loss.  God bless Trooper Davis, and all other members of the Thin Blue Line who selflessly stand watch over our communities and keep us safe each and every day.
