As expected, this will be a challenging budget year. I applaud the Governor for proposing tax policy changes that would protect hard working Central New Yorkers from the harmful federal SALT tax law. I look forward to working closely with the Governor on his agenda to ensure health care stability in the face of anticipated federal cuts, to increase support for schools, and to provide funding to fight harmful Skaneateles Lake algal blooms that threaten Syracuse’s drinking water supply.
