“The Governor's requirement of local non-profits to provide extensive information within a 24-hour deadline reeks not only of politics but of blatant hypocrisy. And this is the Governor demanding compliance from providers to whom he has - for years - withheld critical funds. Not only was he the final holdout in the grassroots ‘Be Fair to Direct Care’ effort, he has failed to appropriate those funds according to the agreed-upon timeline.”
