Senate Deputy Leader Gianaris Rallies with SEIU 32BJ to Support Healthy Terminals Act

ASTORIA – Senate Deputy Leader Michael Gianaris joined workers and leaders from SEIU 32BJ to push for the Healthy Terminals Act, legislation that mandates thousands of airport subcontractors have access to affordable health insurance through their employers.

"The Healthy Terminals Act will ensure every worker at New York's airports has access to the quality healthcare they need and deserve. Amid the covid-19 pandemic, more than ever, we need to pass the Healthy Terminals Act and I urge my colleagues to support this legislation,” said Senate Deputy Leader Michael Gianaris.

Senator Gianaris was joined by bill sponsor Senator Alessandra Biaggi and Senator John Liu.
