SENATOR ALESSANDRA BIAGGI NAMED VICE PRESIDENT FOR NYS CONFERENCE OF ITALIAN-AMERICAN LEGISLATORS; CELEBRATES OFFICIAL WEBSITE LAUNCH

ALBANY, NY – At their final meeting of 2020, the New York State Conference of Italian-American Legislators named State Senator Alessandra Biaggi as their new Vice President. The conference also launched their official website, www.nyiacsl.org.
The vision for the Conference website is to provide visitors a one-stop information portal to learn about the NYS Conference of Italian-American Legislators, browse upcoming events and announcements, apply for scholarships, access to sponsor opportunities, and provide feedback. State Senator Alessandra Biaggi (D-Bronx/Westchester) issued the following statement:
“As a proud member of the New York State Conference of Italian-American Legislators, it is an honor to serve as the Conference's new Vice President. In this role, I look forward to working with Assemblyman Edward Ra and my colleagues to create a strong and nuanced platform that represents our Italian-American values. Over the past few months we have worked to develop a user-friendly site as a way for our conference to share important information, grow partnerships, and promote Italian heritage and culture.”
