Albany, NY – New York State Senator Brad Hoylman, Chair of the Senate Standing Committee on Judiciary, and Senator Brian Kavanagh, Chair of the Senate Standing Committee on Housing, Construction, and Community Development, with the support of Majority Leader Andrea Stewart-Cousins, will hold a joint public hearing on Friday, January 7 at 11 a.m. at the Legislative Office Building, Van Buren Hearing Room A, 2nd Floor in Albany to discuss the Good Cause Eviction legislation (S3082), sponsored by Senator Julia Salazar and co-sponsored by both Senator Hoylman and Senator Kavanagh.

The Committees will hear testimony from those in favor of and opposed to the legislation.
