Statement from Senate Deputy Leader Gianaris on the Fordham Graduate Student Workers Unionization Vote

NEW YORK, N.Y. – Senate Deputy Leader Michael Gianaris issued the following statement after the Fordham Graduate Student Workers voted to unionize.  

“I am thrilled to hear the Fordham Graduate Student Workers voted to unionize. This is yet another victory for workers standing up for themselves. I congratulate the Fordham students as both a legislator and a very, very proud alum.”
