“As hardworking families struggle with rising costs and energy companies rake in record-breaking profits, it’s outrageous that RG&E wants to once again impose a significant rate hike on our community,” said Senator Samra Brouk. “New York State and the federal government have committed unprecedented funding to clean energy upgrades to our grid, which means there is no reason to gouge our families while many are still struggling. I encourage ratepayers to submit your comments during the upcoming public hearing.”
