ELMHURST, N.Y. – Senate Deputy Leader Michael Gianaris announced his “G-Mobile” mobile office will be coming to the Little Thailand Street Fair in Elmhurst on Friday, October 6 from 4:00 to 6:00 pm. The street fair is taking place on Woodside Avenue at 77th Street. A flyer is available here.
“We have seen a great and thoughtful response to the G-Mobile events we have held so far. I am excited to continue putting the resources of my office where the public can best access them,” said Senate Deputy Leader Michael Gianaris. “I am proud to lead an accessible, hands-on government office where we consistently deliver – resolving thousands of cases, securing grant funding for organizations, and enacting policy changes our neighbors need. I will continue to seek new ways to support and serve our community.”
Senator Gianaris’ G-Mobile office events offer community members another way to access their Senator and his office. He recently held mobile offices in Ridgewood and Maspeth. Senator Gianaris plans for more mobile offices throughout his western Queens district this fall. Members of the community came to speak with the Senator and his staff, seeking assistance accessing government, expressing concerns about issues, and learning about his latest legislative priorities.
Senator Gianaris attended the re-naming ceremony of Little Thailand Way last October.
