“From start-to-finish, the prosecution and sentencing of President Trump has transparently been a political persecution from radical Democrats who have no business overseeing the criminal justice system.
 
“First, it was the weaponization of law enforcement and scurrilous charges that amounted to little more than a failed attempt to prevent President Trump from appearing on the ballot in last year’s election. Today it culminated in a sentencing overseen by a donor to President Biden.
 
“It’s been clear all along that the American people have seen through this ruse. It’s why President Trump was re-elected in a landslide victory. While Democrats continue to abuse the legal system in order to yield a favorable outcome to their own unpopular political agenda, the truth and the American people stand with President Trump.”
