Senator Pam Helming joined students, teachers, and local veterans at York Central School District’s Veterans Day Assembly to honor the men and women who have served in the United States Armed Forces.

Superintendent David Furletti, Middle/High School Principal Charles Passarell, and Elementary School Principal Heather Kent organized the annual event that recognizes the sacrifices and service of area veterans.

Senator Helming said, “As both a State Senator and a member of a military family, it is one of my greatest honors to recognize the men and women who have served our country. Their courage and sacrifice remind us of what it means to serve with purpose and selflessness. I will always stand with our veterans, whether I am at home honoring their service or in Albany working to make sure they receive the care and support they deserve.”
