On The Supreme Court’s Decision To Protect Birthright Citizenship:
“Anyone who has read the 14th Amendment knew that birthright citizenship should never have been up for debate in the first place. This decision is a win for all Americans, and an important rebuke against a president who has consistently placed his xenophobic beliefs over the historic values of the greatest nation in the world.”
On the Supreme Court Upholding State Bans On Transgender Athletes:
“Handing down a discriminatory, hateful, and exclusionary decision on the last day of Pride Month is a painful reminder that we are still far away from creating the kind of welcoming and inclusive nation that the United States should be. As a proud ally, I stand beside my friends in the LGBTQ+ community and join their voices in denouncing this abhorrent decision by the U.S. Supreme Court.”
