Griffo: Healthcare entities in 53rd Senate District receive funding

New York State Sen. Joseph Griffo announced today that several healthcare facilities and organizations in his Senate District will receive important funding from the Rural Community Health Integration Initiative.
 
The initiative strengthens regional healthcare networks and improves access to medical services for residents and families in rural communities.
Those receiving funding include: 
  • Community Memorial Hospital: $1,581,930
  • Madison County Rural Health Council: $292,500
  • Mohawk Valley Health System: $1,850,000
  • Oneida Health: $1,030,000
  • Rome Memorial Hospital: $599,622
  • Trustees of the Masonic Hall & Asylum Fund: $500,000
  • Upstate Caring Partners: $1,477,664
 
“I am pleased that these entities will receive support through the Rural Community Health Integration Initiative and to have advocated for them,” Sen. Griffo said. “For those living in rural parts of the state, it can be difficult to access quality health and medical care. The critical funding provided by this initiative will help to improve accessibility to important services and will strengthen rural healthcare in New York.”
